Real run is indeed one of the toughest run I ever did. It consists of running on sand at 3 sentosa beaches, jungle trail, slopes and normal running routes. It is certainly no easy feat running this. When I was running this 10km run, I was totally very annoyed caused it is super tough and well I was not in my tip top condition to begin with. As fate or bad luck, my peroid came on the same day as the run. Much as how I wanted to make sure it don't clash with any of my run, it just wants to be wet blanket and give me problem. I was tired, thirsty and my body was aching and so was my feet. Soreness on my toes and body and to add on a jabbing pain by the cramp that don seemed to go away. I was like if someone could give me my Naproxen painkiller I would really give that person a hug for saving my life from that pain BUT well that did not happened. I was trying my best to stay focus to finished this run. I was really unprepared for this run. So well at the start of the 2km to 5km, I was still coping well and running at the pace of 7 plus plus km per hrs and slowly to 8km plus plus per hr. Towards the 5km onward, I could feel the tiredness and have to push myself. When I saw the sand, my feet nearly gave way. Wobbly feet already but I was glad for the sand caused it was sort of a therapy for me to rest. Cleared 2 beaches, 1 jungle trail and routes and last stop to siloso beach where the ending point is. Totally shagged out after this challenging run. Well, I was unprepared for this run but was really thrilled I did it with my determination and never say die attitude. I always can't thank my awesome trainer Adeline enough for her great coaching and training from her bootcamp. She is the BEST! Those drills really help me big time! Thank you my dear awesome trainer Adeline! 真的选对的trainer! GLOW rocks and you too! Sofiah who did the run with me is my fabulous kakis who never failed to motivate and encouraged me!
